What we aim for
We aspire to a country where every child and adolescent has the opportunity to fully develop their abilities — gaining the autonomy and freedom to make their own life choices.
We believe this can only be achieved through access to quality education, healthy nutrition, healthcare, and other dignified living conditions that nurture learning and human development.
That is why Instituto Îandé works to expand access for children, adolescents, and young people living in conditions of social vulnerability — particularly those from historically marginalized groups — to their fundamental rights. We are committed to tackling economic, racial, gender, and territorial inequalities in access to education, health, food security, clean water, sanitation, and other essential services.
At the same time, Instituto Îandé contributes to strengthening Brazil’s philanthropic ecosystem by promoting network-based philanthropy, give-back initiatives, and, above all, through the Îandé Human Development Fund.
